In 2015 the Afrienerco -IPgrupp Consortium was the primary local contractor that supported the Hitachi Plant Company in the installation and commissioning of the first and only “grid-tied” (at 11KV)1.6MW Solar Energy Plant at the “Usman-Dam” industrial water supply plant for the FCT, Abuja. In 2018 Afrienerco -IPgrupp Consortium was the primary local contractor that supported the Sterling & Wilson EPC team on the 3MW solar plant at “FUNAI” a university in Ebonyi State.
